Egg Log

Throughout February I logged which eggs were collected and used on which days - purely for academic purposes! I made a note of which hen laid each egg and what time of day it was found as we tend to check for eggs twice a day. The total column refers to how many eggs were on the rack at the end of the day (ie after the used eggs are used!).

Key:
P (Pepper), L (Lemon), Fr (Frog), DY (double yolk), y (yolk only), w (white only)

* This egg was found in the run when the hens were released on the morning of the 13th. This means it must have been laid on the 12th - and was the 3rd egg laid that day. We believe it was probably laid by Lemon - but are waiting for more eggs to prove it. Unfortunately, by the time we found it in had been badly cracked, and so it didn't make it as far as the egg rack.
